It is a rare sight indeed when you see two whales breach the water at the same time and you have the foresight to have a camera ready and snap the picture and the right time. Brother Don had just such a chance with this picture. He was lucky enough to turn and snap in just the nick of time to take this fantastic image. It is a rare occurance to get a double breach like this.
The whales come so close it seems they are asking you to come on in and swim with them. Some of the very brave do just that. Hop right in and swim right along side of the beautiful whales.
The whales in Maui are truely spactacular. They seem to know that this is their home and they welcome us who love them into their world. Reach out .. touch them ..
The snorkeling in Honolua bay is spactacular. When the surf is down the bay is as flat as a piece of glass and we can snuggle up next to the cliffs for a snorkeling extravaganza. The water is clear and the sights are beautiful.
When the conditions are right, the snorkeling in Honolua bay is breathtaking. We anchor just off the coastline and turn up the tunes and the fun is on. Lunch is served and the feeling of being in our own universe cannot be duplicated, except for your next trip on AikaneX5!
